THINK WELL
Mental wellbeing is an important part to understand when wanting to lose weight. Often by changing the way we think and feel about ourselves and our goals first can support us greatly when making changes in our life for the better.
EAT WELL
Eating well is not always about cutting down meals or counting calories! The body requires specific nutrients and minerals to sustain itself and function well. Deficiencies are common specifically with B12, Vitamin D and magnesium as examples. Healthy eating for weight loss can be achieved when we understand what the body needs and when. Every body is different and every body may have different requirements which is why a thorough individual assessment maybe necessary.
HYDRATE WELL
Most of us do not hydrate well enough on a daily basis! Every cell in our body needs water especially the brain to function efficiently. Drinking water can help promote weight loss, flush toxins, increase energy, focus and concentration as well as improve skin complexion.
MOVE WELL
Going to the gym every day or pushing yourself to do exercise that you don’t particularly enjoy will not help you keep the weight off! Moving well to benefit the body and support weight loss can be done in so many ways. Power walking, climbing stairs and high energy cleaning with specific stretches and moves are great examples!
SLEEP WELL
Without enough sleep the body can not restore and replenish well enough to give you the energy and strength you need during the day. Lack of quality sleep can cause problems with mood, hormones, weight, memory and immunity to name a few. A good sleep routine is therefore a really important part of taking care of ourselves.
Here at Walm you are offered the support, motivation, education and tools to help with all of the above!
